The book we sign when we close an inspection

This is what an inspection looks like when the inspector closes it: every item, every check and its signature. This one is a sample with made-up data. Yours can be opened by whoever you choose from a link, with no username or password.

What we sign on each page

What the inspector puts in each part of the book, and why.

  1. p. 1

    Cover

Your company, the inspection and who carried it out. The inspector signs here: with that signature they answer for everything that follows.

  2. p. 2

    Summary by family

How many items of each family, and how many pass, need repair and fail. It's the first thing the reader looks at.

  3. p. 3

    Standards

Only those applicable to the families inspected: the royal decree and the standard for each type of equipment or accessory.

  4. p. 4

    Sheet for each item

Its details, each check with its OK or NO, the remarks and the photos. For an assembly, its parts too.

  5. p. 5

    Defects

Whatever failed gets its own page: the point that failed, what was done with the item and the photo.

Everything else stays out of the book: prices, uninspected equipment, the rest of your account and, of course, nothing from other customers.

When an item fails

The book doesn't hide it. The item appears as “Unfit” in the summary and in the index, with the point that failed, the inspector's comment and their photos on a separate incident page. It is what an auditor expects to find: a non-conformity detected and documented.

A link, not an account

  • It expires after the period chosen, from 1 to 90 days.
  • It can be withdrawn at any time, even before it expires.
  • Every opening is recorded, together with the person it was sent to.

For now, TTM generates the link when you ask us for it.
